Creamy Chicken Pasta Soup 2020 – known in my family as “healing soup” – can heal most anything – see blog post here

Vic’s Yucatán-ish Chicken Soup – just added 2020! YUM!

Jambalaya – a hit always – perfect in the fall!

Butternut Squash Bisque – with roasted garlic & chipotle, drizzled cream and sage … i’m not allowed to cook thanksgiving dinner without it!

Tom Kha Gai soup – now YUMMY

Roasted Garlic & Brie Soup – an OLD favorite – posted by request

Crab and Corn Chowder with Bacon and Chanterelles – I always add the crab in and just garnish with Bacon and Parsley – YUM

Roasted corn chowder (from school) – as requested by Ken!   super yummy!

SMALL BITES!

Goat cheese torta – the “default appetizer” – 20 minutes to make, portable, and it’s always a big hit!

Smoked Salmon Bruschetta – easy with a make-ahead salsa

Tapas – Grant’s Tortilla española – that he learned MANY years ago from his “Spanish mother”

Tapas – Croquetas de Jamón – I found a great recipe online – these are YUMMY!

Smoked Trout Horseradish Dip – get the smoked trout from Foremost Seafood (and used Bruckens horseradish – available there or DLM)

Shari B’s chutney Dip – yum!!

Nigella’s watermelon salad – fun for summer!

Blake House Salad – named by Rich many years ago!

Roasted pumpkin cheese fondue – retyped now with my additions

Spiced Cranberry sauce  – pronounced the best ever by 2 newcomers one year

Goat cheese stuffed figs – well, when you wrap bacon around anything 🙂 – amazing when you can find fresh figs!

Creole Remoulade sauce – for shrimp and crudité

Grant’s Chorizo con Huevos y Papas – he’s made this at my house before as well -his  yummy breakfast is always in demand!

Chicken Makhani – tweaked over the years

Maries Chicken Pot Pie – from Marie and Sylvia – easy and YUMMY!   oh, the creamy comfort of it all!

Lemon Semifreddo with Berries in Grand Marnier – originally a Bon appetit recipe, but i changed the topping …. also you can do these berries over lemon sorbet for a very quick summer dessert (but the semifreddo is awesome!)
