      As I’ve been working my way through Pittsburgh restaurants top 20 for 2016, I asked a friend to join me at Legume – which is a charming place! While the Butterjoint bar was quite packed when I arrived and I ordered our requisite DM’s (dirty martini’s) while waiting for her, we were seated immediately at our time of reservation and Jade was an adorable, very knowledgeable and great server!

      We started with the Grass-Fed Beef Tartare with Traditional Garnishes and later the Sweet Potato Ravioli with Roasted Mushrooms, Sautéed Greens, Sage, Brown Butter and Parmesan and both were excellent! Jade suggested a very nice Pinot Noir that would pair nicely with both dishes, gave us a taste and it worked well.

      My apologies for not taking a photo, won’t happen again!

      Kudo’s to all and the venue, menu, service and food all get thumbs up – I will be back!
