ok, last night I had some bucatini (a new fave this year – my heart just believes that the inside tunnels soak up yummy goodness) and a couple of sautéed shrimp. what to do? Kim raves about Giada’s lemon spaghetti (and makes it often) so I looked it up (having made another lemon pasta from Shari before that was very good, but I needed to try something new). Simple, but sounded really good as well – sometimes simple is the best! – link here:

I started with that as a basic idea, and added my sautéed shrimp, some of the first cherry tomatoes from the garden, some basil from the garden, and some of that that fried caper gremolata that I mentioned in a previous pasta post. This was YUMMY!! I tried to capture not only the plate, but a perfect bite! (in hindsight, it’s so close to my logo, I should have thought to stage it!)
wait, this wine glass is empty?????
