      Ok, so having made a totally yummy dish earlier in the week, but not exactly following the recipe (I didn’t have chicken thighs – duh!), I bought thighs and followed it to the letter last night (and shared) – even more yummy!  also sent the recipe to Lisa (currently in Phoenix on Thursday and she made it that eve and she and Russ both LOVED it – texting me after dinner with “DEELICIOUS!”  She called yesterday and wanted another yummy recipe!   Shared some of the original dish I made with Carrie and Joe (parents of my puppy sharing friend Nora next door) and they both raved about it as well. Joe even said he would check out this blog and look at the recipe page!   So of course I took them a portion for 2 last night as well as some of the bean soup from Thursday.

      Most important, Chef Jenn gave me permission (again) to post the recipe. which I’ve done – thanks Chef!

      Highlight of my week?  a dear (and highly regarded very intelligent friend) not only said that she was reading my blog posts, but thought it was very well done!   I”m not alone here (well, except for Grant – who’s been SO supportive from the beginning!!).  I’m enjoying it, but glad it’s being read also.
