ok, i was in Boston and met with friend John for dinner and we walked across the street to a place he remembered as “good, but trendy” 🙂 The food was awesome, in a unique way many try and do not pull off and we ranked the 4 shared dishes afterward. (i late found out this place was the pictured for Boston in the 2015 Zagats best list (yes, the same that make PGH #1) – Boston was #4 that year, but this was one of the highlights. AND they were kind enough afterward to supply descriptions as their menu changes constantly and i could not find them online (as i’m lame in getting around to his 😉

Bay scallops with venison mortadella, pumpkin mustard, radish.
Buckwheat pancakes with wild mushrooms and snails
