Joined some friends for dinner sat night 11/19 (organized by Nancy, the networking queen, and excited to get MaryAnn out for a change) and it was great to see everyone, those i knew and those i didn’t. I was very excited also as it was on Pitt Mag top 20 list for 2016 … service was ok .. (example, servier came back to say there was only one grouper special left (at 6:15??) – I agreed to order something else …ok, but then 10 minutes later there were none (did he not order the 1 left for our table at least while we decided?) … the beet, burrata salad was excellent …. Wine was excellent (tho he recommended something no longer on the menu). I ordered a scallop appetizer – it was cold when served and just ok,but I also had a side of homemade spaghetti (as all pasta was reported to be homemade) and it was very good … Nancy said sauce on the special was “ok”, Maryann really liked the wild boar ragu, Zolton said good things about the pork tenderloin and Carol liked the signature lasagna … tiramisu for the table – I didn’t taste but was reported to be good and sweet. hmmmmm
